Book Compass: Curated Reading for Young Minds
Book Compass is a personally curated reading list of 908 books for children and teens aged 6–17, organised by cognitive complexity rather than content restrictions. Curated by Marc Srour.
Age recommendations reflect cognitive complexity (vocabulary density, narrative structure, abstraction level) rather than content gatekeeping. A "12" label means a 12-year-old's attention is rewarded, and it is not a warning.
